where can i find music reviews that other people wrote about,and wat where their actions,

i just need to know what website i can find some people reviews

I’m trying to fill my ipod with music. However, I reside in Singapore and Thailand and cannot subscribe to music download sites like itunes, napster, rhapsody, sony connect and musicmatch because they are only for subsribers in the US or other selected countries. I’m not looking for free downloads. I only want legal (and I suppose that means fee-based/subscription) downloads. Any recommendations as to which sites I could use?

is it supposedly embarrasing for the performer or for the listener/reviewer or both? I see that phrase thrown around a lot in music reviews and it makes no sense to me whatsoever.
