im the drum student of jerry meadows and the band has played at my house and left over their equipment several times….jerry and joey were in it the whole time but they went through a set of guitarist and bassist including the current two guitarists which jerry recruited from joan red confirming their spot in the band the bassitst is cool but i dont remember his name.
ok. well i donwloaded the album off itunes so sorry for not giving shout outs to all the band members. I couldn’t because i dont have a tangible copy of the CD. the only reason i responded in what you call a snide manner to your first comment was becuase your comment was snide itself.
On your page, there is nothing referencing papercut massacre, just some other work you have done and a link to an invalid myspace page.
It is not hard to find FACTUAL information. Just simply look at my page or the official PAPERCUT TV page on YouTube and you will see videos of the original members. Your comment to me was snide and condescending. If you are going to do an album review on Papercut and the guys who actually wrote and played on the album and the shows when we first signed, do it right. That’s all I asked. These guys now were simply brought together by the record label a few months ago. They are a touring band.thank u
oh and if you dont like my videos, you dont have to watch them
oh my god dude. lose the ego. I did not even touch your comment. clam the fuck down. Seriously. I’m not trying to be a star with these reviews or anything i do here. I’m doing it because its fun.
I tried soing research on Papercut massacre prior to this, btu everything on them online is heavily doused with Joey Culver’s bio.
Also, your comment was allowed to be posted, as at most there was a security thing, but that happens on every video where the commenting limit is exceeded.
If you are going to comment on my post but will not allow my reply to be posted, then you shouldn’t be reviewing albums, much less albums I recorded on and played over a year ago. I don’t appreciate your deleting my comment. If you are going to try and be a star with your reviews and all, do research first chump.
BRIAN JONES
i appreciate the comment, but given that the internet gives one a helluva lot of anonymity, the fact that you dont name yourself and that there is nothing in the Papercut Massacre bios about his forming it with 3 other guys first, i have to take what you say with a grain of salt. I don’t mean to offend you
I came across this video and had to reply. I was the co-founder of Papercut Massacre with Joey Culver and I, my guitarists Billy Harvey and bassist Joey Tannehill all left in August of 2008. We are the original band and not these new pansies they have now. We recorded the album in Memphis. Not these guys you are referencing. Just wanted you to know. You can check out the original band by doing a search and you will find “In the Middle” live from last year as well the Miller Lite Boil last year.
Hey, you need to get more info on the music from Atomship and what Joey did. Atomship deserves most of the credit for this music. Check it out.
You say “UM” 28 times in this video. lol
Not my cup of tea. but great review sir.
